About Mahi

Bringing a deep-seated passion for STEM and a wealth of hands-on teaching experience, Mahi is a standout addition to the mentoring team. Graduating from QLD in 2025, with a stellar 99.8 ATAR, Mahi combines high-level academic achievement with a practical approach to learning, honed through years of experience in engineering education and mental mathematics. This unique background allows Mahi to move beyond rote learning, helping students master underlying concepts through clear, logical explanations.

Mahi’s approach to mentoring is defined by patience and adaptability. Whether breaking down complex physics principles or guiding a student through challenging calculus, Mahi prioritises active listening and creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable exploring new ideas. Mahi excels at transforming technical concepts into digestible, engaging lessons that resonate with learners of all levels.
 
In 2026, Mahi is pursuing a dual degree in Engineering (Robotics and Mechatronics) and Computer Science, receiving a scholarship from UNSW to chase this goal. Driven by a desire to bridge the gap between complex technical ideas and clear communication, Mahi is deeply committed to helping students build both their academic confidence and their own effective learning strategies.
