Study & Stress (An Inevitable Marriage)

According to an American Psychological Association study from 2013 (this is where APA referencing comes from!)45% of high school students said that they experience a great deal” of stress every single day

Not only that, but another 37% reported feeling these levels of stress not quite all the time, but often.

That’s 82% of students that are regularly experiencing heavy levels of stress.

The damning part?

That was only data from 2013

What would those figures look like today?

Let me share another statistic with you.

Of these stressed-out students, only 2.54% said that they used resources available at school for help.

That’s an alarmingly small number.

But if school was the root cause behind most of your stress, would you rely on it for help?

Probably not. Right?

Where then, is the solution and outlet for your stress?

Well, the same study found that apps and the other online resources helped just under 45% of teens feel better when stressed.

Yet, although it might have short-term feel-good affects, many outlets online act as coping mechanisms, not constructive solutions.

The Acuity Project was founded as a different alternative.

A space for stress reduction.

An incredible resource of amazing people and accessible avenues for improving your study.

An initiative driven by students, for students, focused on helping you spend your time doing the things that actually matter to you and the things that you love.

Fundamentally, The Acuity Project is a study support network aimed at achieving one main goal—making study simple and stress-free.
