For us, building a strong rapport between tutor and student is non-negotiable.

We believe that learning requires mutual understanding, teamwork, and trust and so, all of our tutors are carefully selected, not only for their subject expertise, but also their communication skills and teaching ability.

We match tutors specifically to each student with the goal of maximising synergy and subject overlap.

Acuity is a project dedicated to unlocking educational opportunities for students across Australia.

For us, that doesn’t just mean those that can afford high-quality tutoring.

Through our paying it forward initiative, we worked in collaboration with our amazing students to fund an education for Andreis, an impoverished Year 5 student in Victoria.

This year, we’re taking it to the next level. We have been unconditionally committed to empowering Australian high school students with confidence, but now we’re bringing this commitment abroad.

All students in our mentoring program have the opportunity to choose exactly who we support. Their hard work builds a loan each month that can provide to any student in the world via Kiva. Unashamedly, It truly is awesome.

Then we’ll take care of scheduling it into your calendar, setting up a meeting, and sending you a reminder so you don’t forget.

Although we believe that weekly sessions are ideal for staying on top of things, we equally understand that some times during the term are particularly stressful.

So, just pick your program for the term, and we can organise those sessions in whatever way best suits you.

By default, each and every tutoring session is recorded, offering complete transparency, ensuring quality, and creating an invaluable resource that means you never have to stress about remembering what you went over last lesson.

Parents are also kept in the loop via weekly emails containing a short summary after every session, direct access to detailed lesson history in OneNote, plus comments on overall progress throughout the term.
